Hydrostatic profile gauge

A hydrostatic profile gauge allows for manual measurements of failures that occur in foundations, embarkments, landfills, etc. A profile tube is installed horizontally (lengthwise) at the monitoring surface. The profile is pulled through the tube and measures the hydrostatic pressure of the measuring point (inside which there is a high-accuracy pressure transducer) compared to the level of the fluid contained in the reference tank placed outside. A comparison of data measurements taken at different time intervals provides the variation on the position of the tube, and consequently the level of failures.
